I had heard about your incident long after it occurred and the first thing that struck me was I wish I could’ve been there for you as you were for me when I had my bypass. I will never forget your presence in recovery.
It’s now about 27 years down the road from that experience that changed my perspective even more because of a relationship with Jesus. I appreciate the perspective our creator gave me by going through it and continuing today.
You should only know how many students and young people I have said, ‘you can’t steer an idle ship’ to!
Looking forward to future posts as I miss your insights and reflections.
Beautifully INSPIRING and a wonderful reminder that God has a WHOLE family across our universe to help spread His message of loving compassion, kindness and patience with one another.
I hope that WHEREVER I am at a given time, I am being used as a vessel to share His TRULY life-giving message of how HE, the one and only CREATOR, intended for His creation to operate to it’s maximum potential. Thus, leading us to a taste of heaven on earth until we return to our TRUE home to live happily with Him for eternity. 🙏🏻💕
Your hilarious first paragraph had me thinking I subscribed to a wrong guy! I can’t wait to read more of your witty writings. Made me laugh out loud at a restaurant while waiting for a church congregant to discuss deep and sad things like loss. Grateful for you, Charlie!
You are very welcome, Selena. Blessings on your house.
Just gotta laugh, especially at times like these. All the best. Charlie
Thanks, Henry, for your encouraging words.
So good to hear from you, Peter--the best man in MY wedding. What a June that was.
One happy wretch to another
Yup. The R is gone but the D is still with us.
Thanks, Tom
Looking forward to the morning Drew every week or so!
I don't think nursing was ever your calling!
Delighted to read your musings and wisdom for us wretches...I mean, brethren.

Mark Berner led me to your page, Charlie. It’s me, Marcia Neidley Lynch…wow lots to catch up on.
